The Okanagan

We live in the Okanagan Valley. It is one of the most popular vacation "destinations" in North America for a number of reasons. The two most obvious are the climate - sunny, warm and dry, and the gorgeous scenery and water that surrounds us. We offer some paddling instruction and tours and adventures in the Vernon and Kelowna area. These include our super popular "Gourmet-to-go Lunch" paddle which follows a beautiful morning on one of our local lakes.

Clayoquot Sound

One of the most beautiful areas of the British Columbia coast is this sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

It is one of our favorite destinations because it is both ruggedly beautiful, unspoiled, and wild yet still accessible to most paddlers accompanied by guides.

Just a few hours from Tofino will find us camped at our first campsite on one of several possible beaches.

We following a number of possible routes determined by the weather and sea conditions and our customers wishes. We always provide the safest paddling possible suitable to the skill and experience of our group. Trips are 4 extraordinary days.

Nuchatlitz

Nuchatlitz was made a provincial park in 1996. It protects most of the islands off the northwest coast of Nootka Island plus a fair portion of Nookta Island north of Nuchatlitz Inlet. It makes ideal paddling because it is relatively sheltered, offering a great mix of island hopping and potential outer shore exploration (conditions willing)

Our 4 day trips depart from Zeballos by Water Taxi to deliver us right into the heart of the park. Like our famous Clayoquot Sound trips, include excellent food prepared for you, all your top quality camping gear (except sleeping bags) and great guides.
