The beauty of the Island is unparalleled and unspoiled.  It is also incredibly vast so that we never feel “crowded”. 

We love the wilds of the western coast of Vancouver Island and you will too. The waters of Clayoquot Sound ("klak-wot") is one of our favorite places in the world.

We also really enjoy paddling in the waters of Johnstone Strait on the north east end of the Island. The area near Telegraph Bay is home to about 170 Killer Whales so the chances are great of "close whale encounters of the unbelievable kind" .
